My three great loves are Family, Friends and the Homes that hold us. Everything I design is centred around these three aspects of our lives. When it came time to showcase my designs I found that I had a gallery of ideas that on the surface appear pretty random but with closer inspection found that each had the potential to add “something" to our lives or the lives of those we love.

I suppose in a way this website is a gallery of sorts for useful objects and a desire to gift those we love with the knowledge that they matter. To let them know their worth to us. Perhaps we don’t tell people enough that they are loved. I also have an absolute passion for the rhythm of geometric and block-printed patterns. They are an excellent way to lift a home or a wardrobe.

They can add visual excitement to our environment and in a strange way a sense of calm. This occurs when the proportions of repeated patterns are visually appealing. So what makes something appealing? It is hard to put into words as it is something we sense more than our ability to articulate. The right pattern is like a neutral with the added advantage of being uplifting and a little less plain.
